In the past 8 months of the global pandemic, ChiTribe has had over 55,000 website users, produced over 70 ChiTribe events, and hosted 2000 Jewish events on our calendar.
ChiTribe now works as a Facebook developer to add all the Jewish events in one central calendar. We need your help to continue staying virtual, relevant, and accessible.
ChiTribe has provided my link to the outside world during the pandemic. In the tumult of intensely loneliness living alone, and the fear and confusion of working in an industry kneecapped by an economic collapse, ChiTribe became a constant presence with weekly virtual Shabbat cluster dinners. I’ve made new friends and strengthened friends with those I’d had before. I’ve felt just as, if not more, connected to the Jewish community as before this entire crisis. ChiTribe enabled that.

After 18 weekly game night,s ChiTribe is excited to continue virtual game nights monthly. During the pandemic, weekly game nights provided a much-needed distraction from the crazy world we are living in. ChiTribe is in official fiscal sponsorship with Jewish Jumpstart (hereafter “Jumpstart”).
Jumpstart fiscal sponsorship is a limited program focused on the exercise of expenditure responsibility through the disbursement of funds received for a designated purpose.
Jumpstart will provide a form letter stating the nature of ChiTribe and our relationship with Jumpstart. The letter will note Jumpstart’s exercise of expenditure responsibility and the ability to provide a receipt for tax-exempt contributions and grants.
