We find ourselves on Rabbi Nachman’s Narrow Bridge, striving to find a place where we do not fear as we negotiate our person, communal and national responses to the horrific events of October 7, 2023 and the war with Hamas continues through today.
Through a study and discussion of a small selection of the poetry and music that Israelis have created since October 7, we’ll glimpse some inspired responses to the challenges of the prolonged traumatic stress of life in Israel and recognize the challenge of not losing hope in the face of the national trauma that has enveloped Israel and the Jewish People around the world.
Our featured speaker for the evening will be Rabbi Eric Cytryn, a resident of Israel and an experienced Jewish community leader in all aspects of Jewish life.
