Ethical Challenges in the Face of COVID-19 – A view from Israel and the University of Chicago
February 10 @ 8:00 AM - 9:00 AMFree
Never in history have all human beings, in all corners of the world, been subjected to one and the same threat. Covid-19 has made the world a “global village” in the sense that all countries are simultaneously engaged in the same struggle against the virus but also in the sense of getting globally closer under the umbrella of zoom. However, it turns out that societies respond differently to the crisis with different policies and priorities.
The Consulate General of Israel to the Midwest and the University of Chicago MacLean Center for Bioethics invite you to join us on Wednesday, February 10 at 8:00 a.m. (CST) for a discussion about the “Moral Challenges of COVID-19: Policy Planning, Vaccine Distribution and Treatment” with Israeli Professor David Heyd and University of Chicago Drs. Mark Siegler and Will Parker.
