Friendsgiving with JWI and Shalva

For many, the holiday season is filled with joy, good food and time spent with loved ones. Yet, the season can also come with a side of stress – especially if you’re spending time with people who may have differing values and viewpoints. To get into the spirit of the season, join Jewish Women International’s Young Women’s Impact Network for a Friendsgiving where we’ll learn strategies for healthy conflict management from SHALVA, a domestic abuse agency serving the Chicagoland Jewish community.

Mingle over a good meal with network friends new and old, and come away with communication tools for handling any disagreements during the holidays and beyond! As this is a potluck-style meal, attendees are asked to bring a vegetarian, nut-free dish. This program is built for all young Jewish adults who experience the world as female.
