Jewish Explorations of Parents and Kids

May 5 @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

“Honor your parents” says the Torah. “Or we’ll take you off the family plan,” they add. Judaism sees the relationship between parents and children as having supreme value, but we know it’s not always so simple. Together we’ll explore what the commandment to honor our parents really means, what happens when doing so gets tough, and how putting in the work can bring us closer not only to them but also to God. If inherited Jewish guilt is subconsciously influencing your decision to sign up, this class is definitely for you 😉

Join Base Rabbinic Intern Benjy Forester on Wednesday nights in May (5, 12, 19, 26) @6-7 pm for this new course!
