Judaism’s Gifts to the World; JLI with Yochanan Posner

Join Rabbi Yochanan to unpack six of the world’s most basic values and how they were introduced to society by the Torah. By tracing their fascinating journey to the mainstream, we’ll discover a timeless core of purpose, integrity, and clarity in each value—Torah’s powerful relevance in our daily lives and powerful guidance for navigating your own daily choices.

This six week course is called “Judaism’s Gifts to the World: How Major Jewish Ideas Evolved Into Universal Values,” and Rabbi Yochanan Posner will be leading this course in Skokie. Classes are available on Sunday mornings, Sunday evenings, Thursday mornings, and Thursday evenings.

Please choose the schedule that’s right for you.
Option 1: Six Sunday mornings, starting Sunday, January 26, 2020, 10:30am-12:00pm
Option 2: Six Sunday evenings, starting Sunday, January 26, 2020, 7:00pm-8:30pm
Option 3: Six Thursday mornings, starting Thursday, January 30, 2020, 10:30am-12:00pm
Option 4: Six Thursday evenings, starting Thursday, January 30, 2020, 8:00pm-9:30pm
The Sunday class meets every Sunday, from 1/26/2020 through 3/8/2020. However this class doesn’t meet on 3/1/2020.
The Thursday class meets every Thursday, from 1/30/2020 through 3/12/2020. However this class doesn’t meet on 2/27/2020.

Fee: $100 (textbook included); 10% off when two or more sign up together. Full or partial scholarships may be available via the Dr. Reading Dallal JLI Scholarship Fund.
