Lincoln Park Supper Club Orientation

Over the course of the spring and summer, one of the most meaningful parts of our Base experience has been our committment to funding, cooking, and serving monthly dinners for our neighbors in need at Lincoln Park Community Services, in partnership with our friends at Repair the World.

If you would like to get in on the beauty of this experience as a regular or occasional volunteer, please sign up to participate in our orientation session on Tuesday, September 20th at 7:30pm, where we will get to know each other, learn about the history of wealth inequality in Lincoln Park, and discuss the ancient Jewish practice of neighborhood open kitchens. Then we will add you to the list of members of our “supper club” so you can join whenever you would like for our monthly volunteering sessions. We’re hoping our numbers grow enough that we’ll need to go to two dates each month! It’s a great way to give back and make new friends, and we hope you’ll join us.
