Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction #6

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a well-defined and systematic patient-centered educational approach which uses intensive training in mindfulness meditation as the core of a program to teach people how to take better care of themselves and live healthier and more adaptive lives. MBSR has been scientifically shown to be an effective complement to a wide variety of medical and psychological conditions.
This course is being taught by Julia Sarazine, a doctoral-prepared family nurse practitioner. She received her mindfulness education from the University of Massachusetts Center for Mindfulness.
This course meets weekly for 8 sessions, with an ALL-DAY RETREAT scheduled for Sunday, December 8 from 9am-4pm.
