Musical and Pet Friendly Shabbat

September 13, 2019 @ 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

On Friday, September 13, Temple Har Zion is hosting a unique Shabbat event at 6:00 pm. This special occasion not only includes guitars, a keyboard, and drums, but your
family’s cockapoo and schnoodles, too. Temple Har Zion’s gifted spiritual leader, Rabbi Adir Glick, is literally shepherding the flock, while singles, seniors, kids and their friends, and families enjoy a musical experience that promises to be memorable for all. We will even be giving special blessing for pet owners and their pets.

Led by Cantor Stewart Figa, the Shabbat Sha-Woof, is a one-of-a-kind musical chance to pet your pets, while welcoming the Sabbath. It will be held at the beautiful Austin Gardens in
downtown Oak Park.

This park, 167 Forest Avenue, is a hidden gem. There is no charge and the clergy, board, and congregation welcome non-members, as well.

Light refreshments will be
served, but alcohol is prohibited. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Temple
Har Zion is excited to bring our inspiring and spiritual musical shabbat service to the beautiful
Austin Gardens! Pets are welcome, but not necessary. All ages are invited.
