Queer Perspectives: On Torah and Jewish Law

Join Base LNCLN and Lakeview Moishe Pod every Wednesday of Pride month for Jewish learning through a queer lens taught by Natan Hason! Our first two sessions will explore how queer theory can enrich our understanding of the Torah, and the second two will explore how feminist and queer scholarship and experience can open up new possibilities for how our communities think about and decide Jewish law. No prior experience with Jewish text or queer theory is required, and we’d love to have you join us for any or all of these open heart open mind discussions.
