Shabbat Dinner & Conversation with IPF Atid and ConnectIL

February 28 @ 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Join IPF Atid and Connect IL for a buffet-style dinner program as we bring together young Israelis and Americans from across the United States for an evening of connections and conversations.

Tickets ($12) include dinner and drinks from Shouk – spots are limited so please register soon:

We will be joined by featured guests Laura Adkins (JTA News, Yeshiva University), Father Josh Thomas (Kids4Peace) and other experts in town for the AIPAC Policy Conference – as we learn and discuss key developments related to the upcoming elections in Israel, US policy in the Middle East, and more.

IPF Atid is the young professionals network of Israel Policy Forum, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to advancing support for a viable two-state solution consistent with Israel’s security.

Connect IL is a community of Israelis in New York, whose goal is to promote liberal values in Israel in order to create a more egalitarian and democratic society. The group provides a platform for social and educational activities, offering learning alongside work, knowledge acquisition, activism in the form of meetings, publications and more. Each one of us has a different story and different circumstances that brought us to New York: some plan to return to Israel soon after temporary missions or studies, and some have built a life and families in the US and plan to stay. All of us share a deep concern for the character of the State of Israel and its future direction, while we each hold different opinions about the wide range of issues Israeli society faces. What unites us is the belief that every person, wherever he may be, is entitled to dignity and humane treatment, regardless of sex, sexual orientation, gender, political opinion, religion or nationality.
