We’ll be continuing our series on “Historical Criticism and Queering the Text” where we will be diving into the narrative of the split of the kingdom found in Melachim Aleph (1 Kings). Using the tools of an historical critical approach to Tanakh we will be queering the narrative and our notions of Tanakh as a whole.
