Slichot

September 28 @ 10:00 PM - 11:30 PM

base lncln and trad-egal shtiebel

During the month of Elul, there is an ancient tradition to add an additional, nighttime or early-morning, prayer service to the rhythm of Jewish prayer, called Slichot. These prayers focus on reminding Gd of Gd’s essential attributes of mercy, and begging for Divine help in our work of improving ourselves and the world.

We will be hosting a beautiful slichot service in partnership with the Trad Egal Shtiebel, using a special liturgy which combines elements of the traditional Ashkenazi and Mizrahi slichot. Slichot will be song-filled and led by Rav Sarah and Richard Kahn.
