Slichot!

During the month of Elul, there is an ancient tradition to add an additional, nightime or early-morning, prayer service to the rythm of Jewish prayer, called Slichot. These prayers focus on reminding Gd of Gd’s essential artributes of mercy, and begging for Divine help in our work of improving ourselves and the world.

On Saturday night, September 17th, at 9pm we will be hosting a special slichot service in partnership with our friends at Trad Egal Shteibel, using a special liturgy which combines elements of the traditional ashkenazi and mizrahi slichot. Slichot will be song-filled and led by Rav Sarah and Richard Kahn.
