Virtual Book & Author: “Plunder: A Memoir of Family Property and Nazi Treasure”

May 27 @ 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Free; Registration Required
“Plunder: A Memoir of Family Property and Nazi Treasure” shares the incredible story of how Menachem Kaiser, a grandson of Holocaust Survivors, fought to reclaim his family’s property in Sosnowiec, Poland. In doing so, he made a shocking discovery: not only did his grandfather’s cousin survive the war, but also penned a memoir while he was a slave laborer in a vast, secret Nazi tunnel complex. The rediscovered memoir led to Kaiser becoming a semi-celebrity among treasure-seekers who regarded it as a guidebook for Nazi plunder.
Be sure to join us for a captivating conversation with Menachem Kaiser as we explore his family history and prominent themes in Plunder.
