Virtual Weekly Meditation Sits with Orot

“At Orot, mindfulness in a Jewish framework is interwoven throughout many of our programs and offerings. The contemplative tradition, teachings, and practices offer us spiritual tools to slow down, cultivate a deeper awareness and live every day with greater skillfulness, compassion, and love.”
All upcoming Orot programming are now online offerings and open to all who register. Weekly mindfulness sits will continue over the internet, and more information to come. Stay tuned for some new upcoming online opportunities to come together virtually, in song, in the study, in meditation, and in shared support.
Along with the rest of the world, all of us at Orot have been following the ever-evolving nature of Covid-19. We are staying informed and trying to make thoughtful, considered decisions about how to proceed with our scheduled programming, balancing, on the one hand, important physical precautions to keep our communities safe, with, on the other hand, our community’s thirst for spiritual connection, sustenance, and support. We all need both at this time. We need to preserve some distance from one another for a temporary period of time, yet we desperately need one another’s spiritual accompaniment.
