Yom Kippur Morning Service with Lakeview Chabad
September 15 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Chabad will be offering multiple in-person high holiday service options adhering all CDC guidelines for maximum safety and precaution.
In addition to the regular services that will take place inside a beautiful large room at the new Chabad center – 615 W. Wellington Ave. we will also be offering 15 minute Shofar blowing services on the 1st and 2nd day of Rosh Hashana, Tuesday, September 7th and Wednesday September 8th at different locations throughout the Lakeview.
In keeping with Chabad’s welcoming policy, we’ve always provided ample seating for reserved and walk-in participants alike. Unfortunately, given the circumstances this year, all attendance must be by RESERVATION ONLY.
Obviously our primary concern is the health and safety of each and every one in the community, and we want to ensure that every family in our community has the opportunity to fulfill the mitzvah of the day, to hear the Shofar, this year in a setting that they feel comfortable.
There is no need to sign up for the Shofar blowing services.
Whether your background in Jewish prayer and practice is extensive or limited, the services at Chabad will leave you feeling enriched, connected, uplifted and energized to start your New Year in the most meaningful way.
Many of the prayers are recited by the congregation in unison, specifically in English, so that everyone can participate. Hebrew/English prayer books are used throughout the service. The rabbi provides an English running commentary of explanatory and meaningful insights.
At Chabad no one is turned away due to lack of funds.
We prepared a 52 page beautiful High Holiday handbook. View it online and print by clicking here .
