This Little Light of Mine: A Hanukkah Havdalah

Close out Shabbat with a Hanukkah Havdalah! Families will light up the night and explore different properties of light with different light stations. We’ll conclude the program with candle lighting, Havdalah and a community song session around 5:15pm. This program is free and geared towards families with children 8 and under; older siblings are welcome. Sat., December 4 at 4pm in Marvin Lustbader Center at Bernard Weinger JCC in Northbrook. On December 5 from 3-6 p.m., Gallagher Way will host a community-wide celebration of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights, in partnership with JCC Chicago. At sundown, the seven candles on the menorah will be lit and guests are encouraged to ice skate and enjoy DJ entertainment with music, dancing and trivia. Light sticks will be passed out in the final hour of the event.
