FreeFriday Evenings: June 14, July 19, and August 16
Elliot Park, (Lakeshore Blvd at Hamilton St) Evanston
5:30-6:00 Tot Shabbat
6:00-7:00 Bring your own picnic
7:00-8:00 Lakefront Shabbat service
Young children and their grownups can welcome Shabbat with Cantor Howard Friedland and Director of Education, Lauren Reeves this summer! This musical, casual, fun service is just the right size for children 5 and under. After Tot Shabbat, families are encouraged to bring their own picnic to eat with the congregation before our camp-like Shabbat evening service at 7 pm. Stay for all, part, or none of the service—playing and running around is encouraged at Lakefront Shabbat!
Lakefront Shabbat is open to all. We hope you’ll join us! Take a look at the full schedule of JRC’s Lakefront Shabbat.
