2024 Chicagoland Jewish High School Basketball Showcase

May 5 @ 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM

$10

The first ever Chicagoland Jewish Basketball Showcase is launching. This unique event is going to become an annual occurrence. This game will highlight the best collection of Jewish high school senior basketball players on the court together at the same time.

Players from high schools such as Glenbrook North, Stevenson, York, Deerfield, and Rochelle Zell (to name only a few) will be divided up into two equal teams. Coach Eric Millstone from Palatine and Assistant Varsity Coach JJ Pearl from York have volunteered to coach the two teams. We’ve invited players from both private and public high schools locally, ranging from 4A to 1A, to compete this Sunday, May 5 at Ida Crown Jewish Academy in Skokie at 4pm.

This is a great opportunity for these kids to highlight their basketball abilities in front of their peers and the community, compete with and against others you and they may or may not know about, and of course, connect with fellow seniors who share their Jewish heritage and passion for basketball.

Proceeds from the event will go to Hadassah Medical Organization in Israel. The game is being sponsored by Camp Kawaga, an overnight camp for boys ages 8-16 located in Minocqua, WI.
