Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema: “Back in Berlin”

Join the Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema for a very special screening of the documentary Back in Berlin!  In attendance at this live screening will be the film’s director Bobby Lax, and Q&A with him!  See the in-person screening on April 14th at 3PM.

“Shortly after his father Edgar’s death Tel Aviv-based filmmaker Bobby Lax visits his native England and discover a suitcase full of photos and personal letters Edgar, often difficult and distant, had hidden about his Kindertransport experience.  Bobby turns to Manuel, his German-born childhood friend, who accompanies Bobby to Berlin to find the missing pieces of their respective family stories.”
