Chicago festival of Israeli Cinema: “My Daughter My Love”

Come out to the last live screening of the 19th annual Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema!  Closing the festival will be the film My Daughter My Love, screening on April 14th at 5PM.

“This beautiful heartfelt and quietly joyous film features a breathtaking performance by Israel’s renowned actor Sasson Gabay, who stars as Shimon, a 70-year-old Moroccan Israeli widower traveling from Israel to Paris to see a childhood friend, as well as his daughter, son-in-law and their baby.  As he becomes aware of his kids’ troubled marriage, Shimon tries to offer his help.”
