Tu Bishvat is the New year for planting fruits and vegetables. It is the day when the Almighty married the Jewish people. Tu Bishvat is an auspicious day for Jewish Singles to meet.
The weekly Torah portion Parshat Beshalach (the week of Tu Bishvat) which we read the splitting of the sea… the ancient Talmud writes “It is difficult for the Almighty to match up a man and woman for marriage as it was to accomplish to the splitting of the sea.”
