Fall 2023 Service Corps Program Starts

Repair the World Chicago is excited to be entering another season of the service corps. The service corps mobilizes young adults to invest in their communities and themselves through the lens of Jewish values. Corps members will spend 5-10 hours per week volunteering with local service partners and connecting Jewish approaches to justice through issue-area education. In 10 cities around the country, service corps cohorts will be supervised by Repair the World staff to integrate the themes of the program in a small group setting. Corps members are eligible for a stipend of up to $1,250 at the completion of the program, with additional funding available through the Economic Access Fund for corps members impacted by injustice.

Our fall application is currently open and spots are filling up! Our fall program dates will run from Monday, September 11 until Friday, December 8, with the week of Thanksgiving off. We would love your support in spreading the word to your participants as a way to provide a meaningful opportunity for young adults to participate in service while supporting our communities most pressing needs.
