Queer Sukkah Happy Hour

Join Chicago Repair, Keshet, Mishkan Chicago, and Base Hillel for our Queer Sukkah Happy Hour on Thursday, October 5 from 6:00 to 8:00PM CST at Doppelt Base Andersonville! Together we will gather under the Sukkah to honor the Chicago Jewish LGBTQ+ community while holding space for LGBTQ+ ancestors who were denied the opportunity to live a vibrant Jewish life. We will welcome their stories into our Sukkah and support our local Chicago community by accepting clothing donations for the Brown Elephant, where all proceeds of clothing purchased at the resale shop go towards LGBTQ+ healthcare services at Howard Brown Health. An additional service option to give monetary donations for Brave Space Alliance will be offered and donations will go towards providing free resources to the BIPOC LGBTQ+ community on the South and West Side. Heavy apps, alcoholic, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided! RSVP here!
