Temple Sholom’s Barbenheimer Purim Bash

This year, we’re bringing the festivities to the vibrant Robey Hotel in Wicker Park on Saturday, March 23rd, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Embrace the spirit of Purim, a holiday dedicated to merriment, feasting, and the triumph of Jewish perseverance, as we come together to flip our world upside down in the most delightful way.

Whether you choose to dazzle as Barbie, impress as a nuclear physicist, or surprise us with a unique ensemble (or simply come as your wonderful self), this evening promises to be an unparalleled celebration of our community’s spirit and strength.

Schedule

• 6:30 PM: The bash kicks off at the Robey Hotel with a welcoming mix of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to toast to our shared joy, accompanied by a selection of heavy appetizers, setting the stage for an evening of festivity and merriment.

• 7:30 PM: Dive into the heart of Purim with a unique and engaging Purim shpiel, bringing the story of Esther and the triumph of Jewish perseverance to life with a modern twist.

• 9:00 PM: As the night draws to a close, we bid farewell until next year, leaving with hearts full of joy and memories that will last until we gather again.
