Where did you grow up?

Miami Florida

What did you do Jewish growing up?

I belonged to Temple Beth Am and went to religious school, Hebrew school, and was in the High Holiday Choir. When I was in high school I was in BAFTY, part of the SEFTY/NFTY youth group and this is where I learned to play guitar and became a song leader. I traveled to Israel on several trips including The March of the Living and JLI (Jewish Leadership Institution)

Where did you go to school?

Syracuse University

I have created and recorded two Jewish albums and performed the music across the country. I also lead Tot Shabbats & Tot High Holiday services & concerts, of course!

What is your favorite way to spend Shabbat?

While I love to celebrate at home, I love to spend Shabbats singing with communities all over and getting to know people across the country.

I love walking, yoga, and getting my nails done 🙂

What was the best song from your Bar / Bat Mitzvah days?

L’chi Lach by Debbie Friedman and at my own Bat Mitzvah, I sang the very popular tune, One Moment in Time at the party. Now you have an idea of how old I am…
