We are both from Chicago, IL
What did you do Jewish growing up?
Oren Madrid: I had the unique opportunity to live in Israel for three years during my childhood, deeply connecting with my Jewish heritage.
Tony Ross: I went on Birthright, which was an incredible way to explore and learn about Israel’s rich history.
What do you do for fun?
We enjoy attending concerts, sometimes performing. Fun fact: Tony can solve a Rubik’s cube in under a minute.
We find inspiration from the world around us. The personalities we meet, the societal trends that arise, and the variety of energies we receive from our diverse clientele. At SPD Studios, we provide professional photo/video promotional, personal, or even educational media and marketing. Our goal for our business is to ensure that all of our clients put out professional content and media, which will boost their company or brand, and in turn, boost SPD Studios.

When did you start your business?
We started SPD Studios in mid-September 2023.
Where is your business located?
Our business is based out of Chicago and the Chicagoland area, though we travel out of state for special occasions.
How did you get into photography?
Oren Madrid: My background is in film and television from the University of Arizona, focusing on production and post-production.
Tony Ross: I started by making home videos with the family camera, and some of my projects even made it onto YouTube.
Where do you find inspiration for your products?
We find inspiration in the world around us, the personalities we meet, societal trends, and the energy from our diverse clientele.
What services does your SPD Studios offer?
SPD Studios provides professional photo and video services for promotional, personal, or educational media and marketing.
What is your major goal for your business?
Our goal is to ensure all our clients put out professional content and media, which boosts their companies or brands and, in turn, boosts SPD Studios.
