YLD Blue & White Bar Night 2023

Blue and White Bar Night ChiTribe YLD

Yom Ha’atzmaut, Israel’s Independence Day, is a joyous occasion celebrated by Jewish communities around the world. In Chicago, young adults have a unique opportunity to come together and celebrate their love for Israel at the Blue & White Bar Night (ChiTribe’s Israel event of the month). ChiTribe is proud to be covering this event and sharing more about YLD’s Blue & White Night in Chicago to celebrate Israel’s 75th birthday. Join the celebration on April 27th from 7-10pm at Benchmark Chicago

Blue & White Bar Night is a great time for the YLD community to unite in our celebration of Israel and Jewish peoplehood. I’m most excited for the Israeli shuk experience we’ll be recreating at the bar and to hear some of my favorite Israeli songs. I also can’t wait to see old friends and new faces!

Blue & White Bar Night 2023: Years Past

Blue and White Bar Night is one of our biggest events of the year and is one of the best ways young adults in Chicago can show their solidarity with Israel. This year, we’re celebrating the 75th anniversary of Israel’s independence and will have a host of Israeli food, music, and dancing to bring a bit of the Middle East to the Midwest!

Jordan Shapiro, Chair of YLD’s Israel Committee

The Annual YLD Blue & White Bar Night is organized by the Young Leadership Division (YLD) of the Jewish United Fund (JUF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Jewish communities in Chicago, Israel, and around the world. To celebrate Israel’s 75th birthday, Young professionals from across the city come together to celebrate Israel’s independence. The evening will feature Israeli Snacks, dancing, and more to ring in Israel’s 75th birthday.

This event has become a beloved tradition for many young Jewish adults in Chicago. This event brings together young Jewish adults and helps strengthen our connection to our community and heritage. Events like the Blue & White Bar Night are crucial for building a vibrant and thriving Jewish community in Chicago and beyond.
