We invite you to join us for Pride Shabbat on the Evanston Lakefront to celebrate and appreciate the gifts that queer Jews bring to our community. Pride Shabbat honors the struggle for LGBTQIA+ Civil Rights and full acceptance into Judaism. Join Cantor Howard Friedland and JRC Member Nancy Katz, the first self-identified lesbian judge in Illinois, as we celebrate every color of the rainbow and every way of being human. All are welcome. No registration necessary.
Services will be livestreamed on the JRC Facebook Page for those preferring to join us virtually.
