RJD Shabbat Under the Stars

Join RJD for an evening in celebration of Shabbat! Enjoy live classical music, new friends, candle lighting, snacks and wine. This will be a picnic-style/potluck dinner, we encourage you to bring food of your choice to share and we will provide challah and wine.
During the Brahms Requiem, members of the Grant Park Orchestra will play instruments provided by Violins of Hope: a private collection of violins, violas, and cellos that once belonged to Jewish musicians before and during the Holocaust. The presentation of these instruments is hosted by JCC Chicago.
