Miraculously Local Bartleby’s Jelly Donut Ice Cream for Channukah
Why eat a thousand calories if they don’t all taste delicious? Bartleby’s Chanukah dessert package features our original Jelly Donut ice cream, which really tastes like a donut (it’s a miracle!) and is swirled with tart strawberry jelly. Alongside the ice cream are our crispy, Star-of-David-shaped butter cookies, which are dipped in dark chocolate and lit up with festive sprinkles. All of our desserts are homemade from scratch, with top-quality ingredients.
This ice cream is the joy of cold and creamy goodness with the exact taste of a jelly donut! It is truly Channukah in your mouth! -Shifra Whiteman, Good semaritan who discovered this miraculous deal
Owner Rachel Kamins told ChiTribe that she actually created the Jelly Donut ice cream after putting up a poll on Instagram asking for suggestions for holiday flavors. Shifra Whiteman, Yiddish teacher and tastemaker extraordinaire, suggested jelly donuts. “I was excited to be able to make a flavor for Chanukah, because it doesn’t tend to get a lot of focus from businesses at this time of year. It’s always heartwarming for me and my family when we find something made just for Chanukah.”
